Ballet

Classical ballet originated in Italy and became well known in the 19th century for its beauty, elegance and the iconic tutu. Ballet builds confidence, coordination, balance, and form. It improves strength, flexibility, and stamina. Ballet develops musicality, performance skills, teamwork, and accountability, while sharpening memory, focus, and perseverance.

Our ballet classes are based on the internationally recognised Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. In the 1920s, the RAD was established to connect teachers and develop a comprehensive set of dance teaching and examination resources, ensuring a consistent global standard. Focusing on creativity and musicality, RAD exams and presentation classes are an option to motivate and reward students of all ages and abilities.
